Billing & Refund Policy
If paying via credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI the account
will be setup immediately once the payment is confirmed. If paying by
a cheque, please allow 5 days for the cheque to clear. If paying via
postal orders or cash your account will be set up on the same day.
The 30-days money back guarantee* is only applicable for first-time
signups. Second time and subsequent sign-ups are not eligible for the
same. For instance, if you've had an account with us before, cancelled
and signed up again, you will not be eligible for a refund or if you
have opened a second account with us.
Refund is not applicable on Domain registration/transfer/renewal,
cPanel, Plesk, Control Panel, LiteSpeed, Softaculous, Cloud, VPS,
Dedicated Server, Paid Support, SSL Certificates, Sitelock,
SpamExperts, WHMCS, Windows OS, SQL, G Suite, Office 365 and any other
paid licenses.
Refunds are not granted to accounts closed for TOS violations.
Refund is only applicable for new users only. Existing product upgrade or downgrade will not be refunded,
user will be responsible for the action.
If already have product and order new product then no refund policy work.
No refund will be made if your Service(s) is suspended (due to Email Marketing/Email Abuse/Misuse of our service/Inappropriate/Illegal/Immoral/Account Over-use) or terminated.
No refund will be made if our team not found any issue in your Hosting plan from our side.
A Late Fee of ₹99 Will be added to your invoice in case you didn’t make the payment before the Suspension. The late fee should be paid by you to get your service re-activated.
The modifications done in pricing pattern or policy by the software
license company will take effect immediately on Hostginger clients.
The money back guarantee is provided on Shared hosting, Reseller
hosting, and WordPress hosting only.
No refund will be made if your Service(s) are suspended or terminated
for cause.
No refund policy, No money back guarantee is applicable when an order is placed with any offer on Hostginger, eg. Free Domain Offer, Black Friday Sale, Cyber Monday Sale, etc.
Valid and relevant evidences/ incidents must be produced for claiming 30-Days Money Back Guarantee
which includes Un-informed Downtime, Unable to access Hosting Dashboard, and any other technical issues
with Hosting servers that relates to disruption of your website/ application.
No refund requests claiming
difficulty to use our portal/ website/ dashboards will be entertained or processed.
No refund requests claiming bad UI/UX, Interface of Hosting Panel, UI/UX of our platform and dashboards
will be accepted or even entertained. We have developed an easy-to-use UI for our customers and are continuously
upgrading our platform for ease-to-access.
No refund requests will be accepted or entertained, claiming that they have purchased the services by mistake or
they were looking to order the service from different company or provider.
No refund requests will be accepted, if the customer claims they are unable to create/ host their website, unable
to setup application environment/ DNS records or any relevant conditions that don't relate to the disruption/ problem with our services.
No refund requests will be accepted or entertained, if customer is planning to switch to another provider or comparing our services with other providers.
We have clearly mentioned sufficient details/ features of our services/products on the website.
Transfer fees would be applicable, if you wish
to transfer the free domain name to some other provider. Without
transfer fees the domain will not be released.
The payments
made through bank transfer, cheque, money order, cash deposit, DD are
non-refundable. Refund will be added as credit to the hosting
account.
The refund request placed after 30 days will not be processed and you
will not be eligible for any refund.
The cancellation request should be sent through client area or registered email. No cancellation requests will be considered apart from this.
After sending the cancellation request, it would take 14 days to
complete the refund process.
All refunds will be added only to Hostginger Wallet, exclusive of GST, Gateway Charges, Platform Fees and other taxes incurred during the time of purchase. Full refund
will be only applicable for non-fulfillment of order outside the given timeline, to the original method of Payment.
Domain Payments
Domain Registrations: No refund is applicable once the domain is
registered.
Domain infringement: You cannot register a domain name that is similar
to a trademarked domain/a domain similar to a brand and is engaged in
a business providing similar goods or services. Any person trying to
register such domain name will be held liable for infringement of
Trademark. Example: Flipkartsale.in, bajajfinancecs.com,
adtyabrlafnanc.co.in
Domain Renewal: We will send you reminders to renew your domain one
month before the expiry. For failure or delay in the renewal of a
domain, we are not responsible. Once a domain is renewed no refunds
will be given.
Cancellation Process
At any point of time, you wish to discontinue our services, you can
place the cancellation request through your client area. Before that,
you need to clear all the pending dues (if any). You can either choose
immediate cancellation or request cancellation to happen once your
subscription period expires. If you select immediate cancellation, you
will no longer have access to your hosting plan/service. If
cancellation after the tenure period is over is selected, you will
continue to have access to use the Services purchased until the end of
your prepaid term.
It is your responsibility to backup all your data before you place the
cancellation request. Once you place the cancellation request all your
data from our server will be deleted and it cannot be retrieved nor
restored.
*Note: It is advised to maintain a backup copy of your hosting account to
avoid losing your data because of the termination. All your files will be
deleted from the server, once your hosting account is terminated and Hostginger (Company and it's affiliates or partners)
shall not be liable for the same.
Taxes
The price mentioned on the site is exclusive of taxes. The amount inclusive of taxes will be added to your final invoice once you add items in your cart. The taxable amount, platform fee & gateway charge is non-refundable, in any case.
Late Payment or Non-Payment
Unpaid invoices may result in the suspension or termination of your
web hosting account. Your suspended account will only be restored
after clearing the outstanding invoice with a late penalty of Rs. 99, after which you will be able to
access your data.
If your account gets terminated, the data residing on it won't be
restored and will be treated as a new account. If you fail to renew
your subscription on time you will be charged on your invoice.
We will not activate new orders or activate new packages for customers
who have an outstanding balance on their account.
